Our courses are delivered in small, supportive, adult-only classes, making them the ideal way to learn at your own pace and build confidence while developing new skills.

From learning a new language to improving your cooking or exploring your creativity, there’s something for everyone. Courses range from one-off sessions to multi-week programmes, designed to fit easily around your other commitments.

• How much will it cost?

  Many courses are free for adults who are unemployed and on qualifying benefits, or for those in work earning below a set threshold. Costs vary by course, and some may require you to buy extra materials or workbooks. Check the course information online or our course fees page for full details including eligibility for free study.

• How do I book onto a course?

Remember to book as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. Please note, sometimes, a course may be cancelled due to low numbers, so do make sure you book early to let us know if you’re interested.

• What do I need to bring with me?

  When you enrol, you’ll need your National Insurance number so we can issue your Unique Learner Number (ULN). Please also bring a notebook and pen for taking notes. If you’re eligible for free study, remember to bring the relevant proof of benefits or income.

• Can I get a refund if I’ve paid in full and the course is cancelled?

  Yes. If a course is cancelled, you’ll be refunded for the cancelled weeks. If you withdraw, our standard college refunds policy applies.
