  • Starting vocational training
  • Progressing into further education.

What pathways are available?

  • Growth Plus Pathway

The Growth Plus Pathway runs for two days per week for up to 10 weeks and focuses on helping learners prepare for work, training or further education. Depending on work placements and enrichment activities, participation may increase to up to five days per week.

Day 1: Personal development and employability

    Learners develop:

    • Confidence and wellbeing
    • Communication skills
    • Teamwork and professional behaviours
    • Employability skills.

Day 2: Careers and progression planning

    Learners work with:

    • Careers Advisers
    • Learning Engagement Officers

    Support includes:

    • Job search strategies
    • CV writing
    • Interview preparation
    • Work placement applications
    • Planning progression routes.

  • Bespoke Pathway

The Bespoke Pathway is designed for learners who would benefit from a more flexible or individualised route.

This pathway allows learners to combine the programme with:

    • Vocational training
    • Employment-focused learning
    • Additional support services.

Learners still receive structured support and guidance to help them progress into a positive destination such as employment or further study.

What else is included in the programme?

All participants will:

  • Receive careers advice and guidance
  • Be supported by a dedicated mentor or coach.
