If you need a little extra support to get ready for college or your future career, our Step-up and Progress programmes are here to help. At our Step-up and Progress Hub and Mansfield Education Hub, you’ll build confidence, gain new skills, and prepare for the world of work in a supportive and friendly environment. Our experienced team will help you reach your goals and take the next step towards your future.
No uniform here (unless your course requires protective gear or industry-standard clothing). We want you to feel comfortable and confident in what you wear.
No more “Sir” or “Miss” - you’ll be on first-name terms with tutors and treated like an adult, as long as you show respect and take responsibility.
While college feels more relaxed, our expectations are high. We expect good attendance, motivation, and a professional attitude just like in the workplace.
Most courses run around three days a week, giving you flexibility to manage your time. You’ll still have work to do outside the classroom, but how you organise it is up to you. Many students also take on part-time jobs - it’s great preparation for the real world.
If you’re on a vocational programme, you’ll also get tutorials, work experience, and Maths and English if needed all designed to support your future career.
It depends on the course! We offer options from Entry Level to Level 3, each with different entry requirements. Just head to the course page you’re interested in - all the details are listed there.
Yes! Whether you’re studying A Levels, T Levels or a vocational course, you can go to university if you get the right grades and UCAS points.

Start by looking at subject areas you enjoy. Each course page gives you a breakdown of what’s involved. Still unsure? Come along to an open event and chat with our tutors they’re here to help.
