Learn Crafts for FREE* at West Notts College!

Discover a world of creativity in our small, supportive, adult-only classes, perfect for beginners and craft lovers alike. Whether you’re picking up a needle for the first time or exploring new techniques, this course offers something for everyone in a fun and relaxed environment.

You’ll learn the basics of textiles and sewing, starting with simple hand stitches and moving on to beginner-friendly projects like cushion covers, tote bags and zip purses. Gain confidence using a sewing machine and build skills at your own pace.

You can also enjoy the delicate art of botanical watercolour and illustration, combining detailed observation with painting techniques to create beautiful and accurate plant portraits.

As an added bonus, you’ll also have the opportunity to showcase and sell any products you create through a brand-new pop-up shop, developed in partnership with our full-time business students. It’s a great chance to share your work with the community, gain real selling experience, and support a student-led enterprise.
