The Spice Kitchen (Cooking Course for Adults)
Overview
This FREE* 11-week evening course is designed to help adults gain confidence in the kitchen by learning how to use herbs and spices to create flavourful, healthy meals. Ideal for beginners, the course focuses on building skills through hands-on tasting, smelling, and simple cooking demonstrations.
You will learn how to season food intuitively, reduce reliance on salt and sugar, and enjoy cooking more in a small, supportive, adult-only learning environment. Alongside practical cooking knowledge, you will also gain an understanding of Food Safety and will achieve a Food Safety certificate as part of the course.
No previous cooking experience is required, and the course is suitable for anyone looking to improve their confidence, skills, and enjoyment of cooking.
Do not worry if you have been out of education for some time. Our tutors have many years of experience supporting adult learners back into the classroom and will guide you every step of the way.
