Computer technology is constantly changing, and it’s necessary to keep up-to-date with information and technological advancements. Our full-time courses give you the knowledge and practical skills needed to progress within this industry.

Practical lessons

Students have access to three floors with dedicated suites for developing computer games, web development and computer programming, plus four laboratories for students to practically dismantle and repair hardware.

Industry placements

Computer science students have the opportunity to work in industry with placements including NHS and PC World (KnowHow) amongst others. We also work closely with local partners such as Dijitul and the Computer Store, Mansfield.

Enter into competitions

Once they’ve gained the right skills and experience, our students are invited to showcase their talents at regional IT competitions. Computer science students have also been known to hold inter-gaming competitions right here at college.
