This one year course is a great first step towards a career in sports, exercise, fitness or the uniformed protective services.

This course will help you to develop transferable skills, knowledge, literacy and numeracy before progressing onto a level 2 qualificaiton.

English and maths are a mandatory part of the course and you will be required to study these at the appropriate level. These qualifications are designed to enhance your employment opportunities and support you to progress.

Work placement

During the course you will also be required to undertake a minimum of 20 hours of work placement in an area linked to your career aspirations.
