The AAT Business Skills Level 1 course is a part-time, adult-only qualification designed to help you develop practical business and numerical skills that employers value. Whether you are new to business and accounting, returning to education after a break, or looking to build confidence before progressing to higher-level study, this course provides an excellent starting point.

You will gain an understanding of how businesses operate, how to contribute effectively in the workplace, and how businesses process sales and purchases, including the associated documents and procedures. The course will also help you build confidence in core workplace maths skills such as decimals, percentages, fractions, ratios and proportions, and how to apply them in real business scenarios.

The successful completion of this course provides a strong foundation for progression to AAT Level 2 accounting and bookkeeping qualifications, alongside business qualifications.

AAT qualifications offer you professional status that reflects the skills you have worked hard to gain. For further information on AAT courses and qualifications, please visit the AAT website.
