The AAT Certificate in Bookkeeping - Level 2 is a nationally recognised bookkeeping course designed for adults aged 19+ who want to develop practical bookkeeping skills and build a career in accounting or finance. It is also ideal if you already have bookkeeping experience and would like a formal qualification to validate your skills.
This part-time course provides a strong foundation in bookkeeping principles, bookkeeping systems, and financial record keeping, helping you gain the knowledge and confidence needed to progress within the accounting or finance sector.

Don’t let paying for the course hold you back from achieving your goals. You can split the cost of this course over four instalments. If you wish to pay in instalments, you will be required to pay 25% (£181) of the total fee on the day of enrolment and a Direct Debit mandate would then to be completed to enable the college to collect further three payments of £181. The payments will be taken on the date you choose on the Direct Debit mandate form.

This course is delivered through face-to-face teaching in small classes, giving you direct access to experienced tutors who will provide guidance throughout the course. You will learn alongside other adult learners in a friendly, supportive classroom environment, and have access to online learning resources.

If you don't have the entry requirements, we will assess your skills on a 1:1 basis and you may be required to complete an online assessment.
If you are aged 16-18 and wishing to pursue a career in accounting, please consider the Accounting and Business - Level 2/3 or an apprenticeship.
