Overview

This is a vocational qualification and includes all the required elements to work effectively as a hairdresser/stylist including the mandatory units which includes working in the hair industry, health and safety, client consultation, shampoo and conditioning hair, cutting women's hair and the art of dressing hair.

Throughout this qualification you will develop your knowledge and understanding of health and safety, client consultation, products, tools and equipment.

You will also develop a range of technical skills enabling you to effectively consult with clients, shampoo and condition and cut and finish their hair, and interpersonal skills which will assist you to communicate effectively with clients.


Start dates and fees

The course fee can either be paid in full or in four instalments.

If you wish to pay in instalments, you will be required to pay 25% (£836.25) of the total fee on the day of enrolment and a Direct Debit mandate would then to be completed to enable the college to collect further three payments of £836.25 bi-monthly. The payments will be taken on the date you choose on the Direct Debit mandate form.

All hair and beauty courses require the purchase of a specific kit and uniform. It is your responsibility to finance these purchases independently, as there is no funding currently available. Please be aware that the prices for the required kit and uniform will be determined at the start of the year.
