• Entrepreneur in Residence

  Our new Entrepreneur in Residence joined West Notts to help foster a culture of innovation and enterprise across the college, building stronger connections between education and industry. They will  work with students and staff to inspire entrepreneurial thinking and mentor budding business founders.

  Recently, they worked with Business students to promote the Mansfield Ambition Exchange, briefing around 200 students on a live branding competition that challenged them to apply their creative and commercial skills to shape the identity of the new hub for innovation, collaboration, and skills development, connecting students with local businesses and professionals.

  They have also mentored Level 3 students who have already developed their own start-up ideas, and she has delivered specialist masterclasses through a programme of online videos called Young Hustle Hub. These 5-10 minute videos include registering with HMRC, protecting business ideas and choosing the right software for streamlining, and legal and tax basics.
