This course is ideal if you want to develop advanced business knowledge and prepare for university, an apprenticeship or a professional career.
Equivalent to three A Levels, the course gives you a deep understanding of how businesses operate, from marketing and finance to managing projects and analysing performance.
You’ll take part in practical activities, business visits and industry talks, giving you valuable insight into real working environments and helping you build the skills employers are looking for.
After completing the course, you could progress to university, a higher apprenticeship, or careers in areas such as marketing, management, finance, sales or entrepreneurship.
You will study
The Eventors is our student event team where you’ll plan and run real events, from fundraising markets to awards ceremonies.
You’ll gain hands-on experience in event management, marketing, budgeting and teamwork, while meeting new people and building confidence. It’s a great way to boost your CV and stand out to future employers.
Our Entrepreneur in Residence supports students with big ideas. They work with you to build enterprise skills, creativity and confidence, while sharing real business experience and mentoring future entrepreneurs.

This courses is only suitable to 16-18 year olds.
If you are not studying a traditional GCSE programme, we accept alternative qualifications like Functional Skills and vocational courses. If you are not planning on sitting GCSE exams, we can also support you with completing an English Language and Maths assessment. Please contact our admissions team for further details:
Assessment is undertaken throughout the course in the form of assignments, presentations and projects.
