 Animal Care - Level 3

I'm enjoying the course as the work is well-balanced and it's not too tough so I can manage my work quite easily. We get days where we can leave site and visit farms to do external work.

The animal care unit is very good, and I love coming down here when I can as I get to see all the animals and I get to work with them; sometimes I like to work with the rabbits more than I do the others.

My class got to visit Yorkshire Wildlife Park where we got to see a wide variety of animals including polar bears, tigers and lions.

The tutors are very nice, they look after you if anything's wrong and they're really helpful.

For my work placement, I went to Mansfield Wildlife Rescue in Pleasley which rescues all types of mammals and birds. I helped with day-to-day cases where I looked after the animals, fed them and cleaned them.
