Travel and Tourism - Level 3

I enjoy this course as it gives you a lot of choices to experience travelling. There’s event management where you get to design events, but there’s also travel opportunities such as cabin crew. We have part of a plane outside which gives students a chance to experience what it would be like working within a plane, and our travel agency is where students get to act as if they were a travel advisor.

My tutors have been very helpful, they’ve helped me through every problem I’ve had and if you have a sick day, when you come back, they’ll sit down and talk through it.

We went on a trip to Estonia for two weeks where I got to experience a different country, but also got to experience what they do there within their hotel because the hotel is run by the students so they do all the housekeeping and they look after the floors.

Workers from TUI visited and did a whole learning company hour with us where they talked about opportunities working for TUI.
