Aim logoOur Mansfield Education Hub is a small and supportive college located in Mansfield. We have a passionate team of teaching and support staff who want to help you grow, achieve and succeed.

The hub offers personal and social development courses to act as a stepping stone into apprenticeships or vocational learning. Students will work towards a level 1 qualification with opportunities for volunteering and vocational tasters alongside English and maths all designed to develop personal skills and resilience.

We welcome applications throughout the year for young people aged 16 to 18 (or 19 to 25 with an EHC Plan) to join our Preparation for Study Learning Programme.

Students who haven't achieved a GCSE grade 4-9 English or Maths will study these subjects while you're here with us. By doing so, you'll be building a strong foundation of skills that will significantly boost your employability in the future.

Think of it as a chance to supercharge your knowledge and abilities. You'll be equipped with the tools necessary to tackle the world beyond college with confidence. Plus, we'll be right here to support you every step of the way.

At the end of the course, you will achieve:

  • GCSE/Functional Skills English*

  • Level 1 AIM Certificate/Award* in Personal and Social Development Skills.

*Dependant on start point.
