This adult-only (19+), part-time course is ideal if you are looking to retrain, upskill, or take your first steps into the barbering industry. Whether you are returning to learning after a break or starting something completely new, you will be supported every step of the way. We have many years of experience helping adult learners build confidence and succeed in the classroom.
You will study in small class sizes alongside like-minded adults, creating a friendly, supportive learning environment. All training takes place in Revive, our professional commercial hair and beauty salon that is open to the public and equipped with industry-standard facilities that are unrivalled in the area. This means you will gain valuable, real-world experience.
The VTCT Level 2 Certificate in Barbering has been designed to develop your skills to a high level of occupational competence and prepare you for employment within the barbering industry. You will learn how to confidently advise and consult with male clients, helping them achieve their desired look through suitable haircutting and facial hair styling techniques. You will also develop essential knowledge of health, safety, and professional working practices to ensure the wellbeing of both yourself and your clients.

Fee - £610
Don’t let paying for the course hold you back from achieving your goals. You can split the cost of this course over four instalments. If you wish to pay in instalments, you will be required to pay 25% (£152.50) of the total fee on the day of enrolment and a Direct Debit mandate would then to be completed to enable the college to collect further three payments of £152.50. The payments will be taken on the date you choose on the Direct Debit mandate form.

All hair and beauty courses also require the purchase of a specific kit and uniform. It is your responsibility to finance these purchases independently, as there is no funding currently available. Please be aware that the prices for the required kit and uniform will be determined at the start of the year. This course is only available to students aged 19+
If you cannot find your certificates, please speak to us on 0808 100 3626 as we will also consider previous qualifications and experience.
You will need to provide your own models for practice and assessments.
You will also need to complete written assignments and online multiple-choice exams for every unit.
