This course is specifically designed to provide you with comprehensive training in advanced skills, knowledge, and behaviours in the field. Its primary objective is to equip you with the expertise required to excel in plumbing and heating systems. By enrolling on this course, you will gain advanced skills and knowledge that will prepare you for progression into an apprenticeship or secure full-time employment in the construction trade of your choice, focusing on plumbing and heating. This course will empower you to pursue a successful career in the industry, where you can contribute your expertise to the installation and maintenance of plumbing and heating systems.

Throughout the course, we will offer an advanced blend of theoretical - what you need to know and practical - hands on sessions, to put into practice what you have learnt to ensure a well-rounded understanding of plumbing and heating. You'll have the chance to engage in industry and community-based projects, as well as rewarding trips and visits.

Our esteemed partnerships with industry employers like Persimmon Homes, Wilmott Dixon, Mansfield District Council, and Bolsover Council will open doors to valuable work-related opportunities. These partnerships ensure that you develop the skills and expertise that employers in the industry actively seek.

  • Domestic central heating systems planning and design
  • Principles and requirements of environmental technology systems
  • Domestic sanitation system installation, commissioning, service and maintenance techniques
  • Cold water systems planning and design
  • Hot water systems planning and design
  • Building services site procedures and planning.
