This adult-only (19+) part-time course is designed for those looking to build higher-level accounting skills in a flexible way.

Our revamped AAT provision allows you to study individual units, meaning you can:

  • Learn at your own pace
  • Avoid being tied to an academic year
  • Choose a pay-as-you-go approach

In this unit, you will study:

  • Understand the purpose and use of management accounting within organisations
  • Use techniques required for dealing with costs
  • Attribute costs according to organisational requirements
  • Investigate deviations from budgets
  • Use spreadsheet techniques to provide management accounting information
  • Use management accounting techniques to support short-term decision making
  • Understand principles of cash management.

Do not worry if you have been out of education for some time. Our tutors have many years of experience supporting adult learners back into the classroom and will guide you every step of the way. You will study in small, supportive classes alongside other like-minded adults, creating a relaxed and encouraging learning environment.
