AAT Internal Accounting Systems and Controls - Level 4

Overview

aat approved logoIn this unit, you'll learn about guarding against fraud using controls, and how to protect business resources using tools to evaluate the controls and be able to recommend improvements. You'll also build awareness of the key stakeholder requirements, and how to implement and evaluate changes to operating procedures.

  • Evening group: 9 December 2025 - 5 February 2026.

Costs

  • £486.50

You will also need to purchase an AAT student membership at the appropriate level for your course. The membership fee lasts for the whole duration of the qualification. Please visit aat.org.uk for current membership fees and payment information.

  • Entry requirements

    You should hold an AAT Level 3 qualification in accounts or a degree in accounting.

  • Assessment

    You will assessed by external examination on campus.

  • Progression

    Full membership of the AAT and entry for ACCA, ICAEW or CIMA qualifications upon completion of the full qualification.
