Art, Design and Media - Level 1

This course is designed for those with a proven interest in art, design and media and a desire to explore their creative potential.
You will explore a wide range of art and design activities that may include developing practical skills in painting and drawing, computers in art and 3D design, printmaking and ceramics.
This course is an introduction to art, design and media that could lead to a variety of programmes at a higher-level. This may include a Level 2 qualification in Art and Design or a Level 2 qualification in Creative Media Production.

- Entry requirements
- GCSE English Language and Maths at grade 2-9
- Plus a portfolio which showcases creativity and artistic ability.
If you are not studying a traditional GCSE programme, we accept alternative qualifications like Functional Skills and vocational courses. If you are not planning on sitting GCSE exams, we can also support you with completing an English Language and Maths assessment. Please contact our admissions team for further details:
