Apprentice Product Design & Manufacturing Engineer
We are looking for an Apprentice Product Design & Manufacturing Engineer to join our small team and learn how a product goes from an idea on a screen to something being used by customers around the world. Working alongside experienced members of our team, you will gradually learn areas including:
- CAD and product design
- Technical drawings and tolerances
- Product development and prototyping
- 3D printing
- CNC machining
- Machine setup and manufacturing processes
- Engineering materials
- Measuring and inspection equipment
- Quality control
- Assembly and finishing
- Testing new products and prototypes
- Production planning
- Stock and component management
- Packaging and distribution
As your ability develops, we want you to become increasingly involved in developing and improving real TrigJig products.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
This programme is delivered via a day release delivery model which means that one day per week, your attendance is required at our Engineering Campus. This attendance is required during term time only.
You will work with expert assessors and tutors to develop new knowledge, skills and behaviours within the profession.
You will experience a blended learning model.
Please note: This is an apprenticeship vacancy, and the advertised closing date is provided as a guide only. The employer wishes to review applications and interview suitable candidates as they are received. As a result, this vacancy may close earlier than the advertised date if a suitable candidate is identified or if a high volume of applications is received. We therefore encourage interested applicants to apply as early as possible to avoid disappointment.
