Apprentice Health & Safety Administration Assistant

This is an exciting opportunity to begin your career in Business Administration while supporting the Health & Safety function within a busy and growing construction business. You will play a key role in ensuring health & safety documentation, records and administrative processes are maintained. 

  • What will the apprentice be doing?
    • Help to maintain compliance records, update H&S systems, and handle filing for Reports, Audits and Toolbox Talks
    • Help to prepare and assist in Inductions (New Starters), Safety Alerts and Training Delivery
    • Prepare documentation for sites
    • Help to maintain stock of PPE / Safety Signage
    • Support the wider business with administrative tasks as required

  • What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
    • We host supporting workshops regularly throughout the apprenticeship which you will attend in person at our designated training site/campus
    • These workshops are carefully designed to support the learning required throughout the apprenticeship programme.
    • You will work with expert assessors and tutors to develop new knowledge, skills and behaviours within the profession
    • You will experience a blended learning model

  • What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
    • Successful completion of the Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship will provide opportunities to progress into specialist Health & Safety roles and undertake further professional training and qualifications, such as the Level 3 Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) Technician Apprenticeship, NEBOSH or IOSH qualifications, supporting the development of a long-term career in health and safety
