Stacey had a passion for animals from a young age and decided to get into the industry. She began working at Pets at Home which secured numerous promotions, reaching the role of store manager very quickly. She managed around 16 colleagues, working in various branches around Nottingham and Leicester. She received great training from them and completed a variety of animal related courses. She enjoyed the training of the new recruits and wanted to continue with this but in an education setting.

Stacey returned to the world of studying and started working at West Notts College as a teacher/assessor for animal care. Stacey has been with the college since 2013 and is the programme lead for the Level 1 Diploma in Animal Care and Level 2 Skills for Working in Animal Care Industries.
