Teacher: Art and design


Biography

Natasha is a multi-disciplinary teacher working within our art and design team. Specialising in fashion, Natasha has a keen interest in sustainability from both a fashion and design perspective. Natasha aims to inspire future makers and artists to create sustainable and innovative products. Previously appearing on ITV Wales discussing sustainability and consumer behavior, Natasha is a sustainability advocate and regularly participates in sustainability focused courses and workshops. It is Natasha’s belief that the creative industries of the future should solve modern-day issues whilst providing the highest levels of quality and function.

Natasha’s experience in the fashion industry ranges from couture houses in Amsterdam to embroidery factories in the local area. Natasha has worked for brands such as Suzie Turner, Topshop, River Island, Debenham’s, Watters and Fashion Revolution. Teaching fashion, textiles and printmaking across all levels, Natasha can often be found in the studios sharing new and exciting techniques with students. Natasha has digital skills in Clo3D, Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign and encourages students to use technology to their advantage by embedding digital assets into their projects.
