Biography

Mark has a wealth of experience after entering the trade in 1991. He worked for a company which completed a variety of building work from house building, purpose-made bench joinery products, domestic carpentry and joinery to bar manufacture, fitting and shop fitting.

Mark started his own business in the late nineties undertaking domestic carpentry and joinery work, renovations, restorations and home improvements. He incorporated some part-time teaching alongside this work and has been teaching carpentry and joinery to West Nottinghamshire College students for 25 years.

He has taught across all levels in both bench joinery and site carpentry.

Mark now teachers full-time at the construction campus at Kirkby-in-Ashfield. He leads on Level 2 and 3 site carpentry courses and supports on all other aspects of the construction syllabus.
