Biography

Jordan studied at West Nottinghamshire College for five years, completing a Level 3 NVQ in Bench Joinery and Level 3 BTEC construction in the built environment. Jordan worked on the bench manufacturing wood-based products for the commercial, retail and exhibition industries. Before moving into the office as a technical draughtsman, he worked on computer aided design and computer aided manufacturing software, producing quality drawings and documentation for manufacture and assembly on-site.

Jordan started working for West Nottinghamshire College in 2020 as a trainee teacher. Jordan is currently a teacher in the carpentry and joinery department. Jordan delivers carpentry and joinery qualifications ranging from Level 1 to Level 3.

In Jordan’s own time, he enjoys long countryside walks and other outdoor activities. Jordan is a dedicated youth leader and organises and runs Duke of Edinburgh awards.
