Biography
Hi I am Jo Webster and my role within the hair and beauty department at West Notts College is assessor/coach in the commercial salon.
My position links to my background where I have worked in a busy salon with 18 members of staff for twenty years delivering Level 2 and 3 practical and theory in the salon. This is where I worked my way from a Level 2 learner to a director of the business.
I then progressed into full-time teaching in Further Education for ten years, delivering all levels of hairdressing and barbering. From then I also have owned my own salon and then became an assessor work coach here at West Notts College.
To update my skills I work continuously work with Wella and my cousin who also runs her own business. I hope that you enjoy your learning while you are at West Notts and hope you achieve all of your aspirations.
