Biography

Jess is a passionate and highly experienced post-16 business teacher, with a diverse background rooted in commercial training and management.

Before moving into education, she excelled as a group client services manager, leading various administration and customer service teams across the East Midlands. Her commitment to personal growth saw her earn a first-class honours degree in Business Management from the Nottingham Trent University’s Mansfield Hub, a place that marked the beginning of her adult academic journey.

Not one to rest on her laurels, Jess pursued her passion for teaching, completing her Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) at the University of Derby.

Her enthusiasm for business education, combined with her multi-skilled approach, ensures her students gain practical knowledge that prepares them for the challenges of the professional world.

Outside the classroom, Jess enjoys exploring new restaurants, traveling abroad for unique experiences, and spending quality time with her husband and son. Whether she's trying out a new dish or embarking on the next family adventure, Jess believes in making the most of every moment.
