NHS work placement co-ordinator


Biography

Deb has studied a variety of qualifications including a Diploma in Nursing, BSc (Hons) in Health Sciences, BTEC Certificate in Training and Education, and is currently working towards her Postgraduate Certificate in Education.

During her 30 year career in the NHS, Deb initially worked as a healthcare support worker before qualifying as a registered nurse in 2000. She went on to become chief nurse clinical fellow at Sherwood Forest Hospitals Foundation Trust working on the RESTORE 2 Project across Nottinghamshire. Deb was nominated by her MP as the local NHS champion in 2023 and attended a reception at 10 Downing Street.

Outside of college, Deb is group leader for an Ashfield Scout Group, learning lead for Nottinghamshire Scouts and enjoys going to the gym or hiking.
