Biography
Mark has developed a wealth of experience since entering the construction and building trade in 1991. He worked for a company completing a variety of building work from house building, purpose-made bench joinery products, domestic carpentry and joinery, to bar manufacture, fitting and shop fitting.
Mark started his own business in the late nineties undertaking domestic carpentry and joinery work, renovations, restorations and home improvements. He incorporated part-time teaching alongside this work and has been teaching carpentry and joinery to West Nottinghamshire College students for 25 years.
He has taught across all levels in both bench joinery and site carpentry.
Mark now teaches full-time at the construction campus at Kirkby-in-Ashfield, where he leads on Level 2 and 3 site carpentry courses and supports on all other aspects of the construction syllabus.
