Biography
Amanda is a business tutor with a diverse background spanning various industry sectors, including the NHS, manufacturing and retail. Her passion for education ignited after completing her A Levels, leading her to teach business studies in the evenings. With a teaching certificate in hand, Amanda transitioned to a full-time role, where she has been imparting business knowledge to students of all ages in colleges.
Amanda’s commitment to education extends beyond the classroom. She has collaborated closely with employers to enhance their teams through practical projects focused on problem-solving and teamwork. A firm believer in lifelong learning, Amanda has continuously pursued her own education while working, culminating in a Master of Science (MSc) degree.
Currently, Amanda teaches Level 3 Business, enriching her lessons with real-world experiences and insights. Her approach to teaching is deeply rooted in practical application, ensuring her learners are well-prepared for the dynamic business environment.
Outside the classroom, Amanda is a keen traveller who delights in exploring European cities, savouring local cuisines, and immersing herself in diverse cultures. She is also a passionate nature enthusiast, keen to protect wildlife, particularly hedgehogs.
