Everything you need to know about the enrolment process.
New students
- Step 1 - Sign into your myVISION account
Sign into your myVISION account via the button below and complete the personal details form. Your address, mobile, email address, emergency contacts, etc, may have changed since you first submitted your application, we ask that you take the time to ensure these details are correct and update if not. This information will then be used when enrolling you to your chosen course, so it is essential that you check they are correct.
PLEASE NOTE: You will be required to use your legal name, not your preferred name (it is a legal requirement) when uploading any documentation or imagery.

- Step 2 - Upload your documents
From Thursday 20 August, upload your examination results and a photograph of yourself (following standard passport guidelines) to your myVISION account.
Photograph guidance:
- Photos must be clear, sharp and in-focus. They must be a true likeness of the subject
- Photos must be in colour; black and white photos are not accepted
- Photos must not be manipulated or edited in any way, for example softening lines or shadows using a filter
- Your eyes should be open and clearly visible
- Your photo must show both edges of the face clearly
- Your photo must show a full front view of the face and shoulders
- Hats or head coverings are not permitted except when worn for religious reasons and only if the full facial features are clearly visible
- Please do not post any inappropriate images as your photo
- Upload as a JPEG, PNG or PDF.
- Step 3 - Attend your enrolment day
Attend your onsite enrolment day at your allocated time slot. Please be aware that the enrolment process can take 1-2 hours.
If you have not uploaded your results, please bring a paper copy along with you for our tutors to check. Please note that if you do not bring your grades, you will not be enrolled to your chosen course. We must see evidence of your grades before we will enrol you.
Current full-time students
- Enrolled on a 2-year course
If you are a returning learner that has been enrolled onto a two-year course (A Levels, Access to HE, T Level, and some vocational courses), you will not be required to come into the college to re-enrol. Your curriculum will write out to you outlining your start date and any equipment you will require for the next academic year. All you need to do is turn up on your first day and you will be issued with your lanyard.
- Staying at college within the same curriculum
If you are a returning learner, staying in the college next year within the same curriculum, you will receive two letters. One from your curriculum outlining your start date and one from our Admissions Team inviting you into the college either Monday 17, Tuesday 18 or Wednesday 19 August to sign your learning agreement and to collect your lanyard as you will have been automatically enrolled. Please make every effort to attend the session allocated to you as you must sign your learning agreement.
Please note, the course you have been enrolled onto is based on successfully passing this year’s course (25/26) and having the necessary GCSE maths and English grades required for the course. If you are not successful in meeting these requirements there is a chance that we may need to look at an alternative programme of study for you. Please do not worry, the college will do everything within its power to support you and is committed to working with you, to identify a course to suit your needs.
- You've been invited to enrol face-to-face
If you are a returning learner and have decided to move to a different curriculum area or have not been invited to a session on the 17, 18 or 19 of August, you will receive a letter inviting you into main enrolment, this takes place from Thursday 20 August until Friday 28 August, if you cannot make your allocated slot please contact our Customer Enquiries Team on 0808 100 3626 or via email at

Please ensure you are prepared for enrolment by updating your myVISION account.Please update your photo and check that your personal details are all correct, if available please also upload your examination results. If you have trouble uploading these please just bring them along with you on the day. You will be issued with your timetable and lanyard at this event.
- Financial support
If you previously accessed financial support or are planning to apply this year, the bursary portal is now live. You can access this by visiting the student portal. You will require your student number (For example - ABC23001234) and it can be found on your ID badge and formal letters from the college. Please ensure you have this to hand when applying.
Part-time students
- View information
Unless you have received a letter to enrol online, part-time enrolments are taking place via telephone from Monday 30 June until mid-September. The learner records team will contact you to complete your enrolment.

What you'll need to have at hand
- Access to your email inbox to receive documents
- All your personal details
- A digital copy of your employer purchase order (if they have agreed to pay for your course fees)
- A digital copy of your Advanced Learner Loan approval
- Proof of household income may be required if claiming a remitted fee
- Your bank details if you are paying by direct debit.
Please note - For some courses, additional examination or membership fees may have to be paid directly to the professional awarding bodies for industry-recognised qualifications. You will pay these fees after you enrol.

If you know what career you are interested in, search for a suitable course and apply online.
We have limited spaces available in over 100 courses starting from entry-level up to Level 5.
Whatever grades you achieve, we’re sure we’ll have a suitable course for you.
- I didn't get the entry requirements
If your results are lower than expected, please don’t panic as we may still have a place for you.
Please come along to your enrolment day as planned and the teacher will assess the most appropriate level for you to undertake.
If an alternative level is not possible, we will work with you to explore other available options.
