This course is designed for those with a proven interest in performing arts and would like to develop their acting, voice and movement skills.

You will explore a wide range of performing arts activities that may include devising, movement workshops, script work, vocal development, physical theatre and more!

This course is an introduction to performing arts that could lead to a variety of programmes at a higher-level. This may include a Level 2 qualification in Drama or Musical Theatre.

  • Entry requirements
    • GCSE English Language and Maths at grade 2-9
    • Students must attend an audition where they will be required to perform a short memorised monologue (off script).

    If you are not studying a traditional GCSE programme, we accept alternative qualifications like Functional Skills and vocational courses. If you are not planning on sitting GCSE exams, we can also support you with completing an English Language and Maths assessment. Please contact our Admissions Team for further details:

    If you don't meet the listed entry requirements, you may still be accepted with relevant experience, a strong portfolio, and a commitment to the subject
