The Skills Bootcamp combines leadership and management development with practical sustainability principles, helping you understand how sustainability can be embedded into everyday operations, decision-making and team practices.

Through interactive workshops and practical activities, you’ll explore sustainability challenges, ethical leadership, stakeholder engagement and operational sustainability. You’ll develop practical approaches to improving environmental, social and organisational performance.

The programme is based on the CMI Level 3 Sustainability Principles for First Line Managers qualification and includes a workplace sustainability project, giving you the opportunity to apply your learning to a real challenge within your organisation.


Who should study the Skills Bootcamp in Sustainable Leadership for First-Line Managers?

This Skills Bootcamp is designed for adults who are currently working as a First Line Manager or aspiring to move into a first-line management role.

You should:

  • Be aged 19 or over.
  • Have literacy skills at Level 2.
  • Have been resident in the UK for the last three years.
  • Live within the Nottinghamshire or Derbyshire area.
  • Be an aspiring or current First Line Manager.
  • Have an interest in developing your leadership and sustainability skills.

The programme is particularly suitable if you want to understand how to introduce sustainable practices within your team, support organisational change and contribute to your organisation’s environmental, social and operational goals.
