Have you always imagined yourself working with children and young people? This 11-week adult-only (19+) part-time course is a fast-track introduction to careers in education and early years.
Designed as an induction programme, this course will help you develop the core knowledge, skills and confidence needed to work or volunteer in a school or early years setting.
If you decide to continue your journey, you can progress onto either the Level 3 Diploma in Supporting Teaching and Learning (Teaching Assistant) or the Level 3 Diploma for Working in the Early Years Sector (Early Years Educator).
If you are returning to learning after a break, you will be fully supported. Our experienced tutors specialise in working with adult learners and create small, encouraging classes where you can build confidence at your own pace.
Starting something new can feel like a big step, but you don’t have to do it alone. From careers guidance to mental health and wellbeing, we’re here to support you before you apply and throughout your time with us.
This course is only available to adults aged 19+.
You will be assessed from reflections of your work completed in college and in your work placement setting, alongside completing a research task.
