Overview

This adult-only (19+) one-day course is free (subject to eligibility) and offers an immersive introduction to caring for small mammals. You will study in small class sizes alongside like-minded adults, creating a friendly and supportive learning environment.

Step into the role of an animal technician and gain hands-on experience in feeding, cleaning and providing daily care for a variety of small animals. Whether you are considering a career in animal care or simply enjoy working with animals, this course will give you practical skills and insight into the day-to-day responsibilities of a technician.

Do not worry if you have been out of education for some time. Our tutors have many years of experience supporting adult learners back into the classroom and will guide you every step of the way.
