Process Engineering Apprentice
We are recruiting for a Process Engineering Apprentice to join our team in Ripley. Start your career in engineering with a hands‑on apprenticeship at Forbo in Ripley. You’ll learn how our Flotex product is made, how our manufacturing processes work, and how to solve real problems in a manufacturing environment.

What will the apprentice be doing?
As part of your apprenticeship, you will develop practical skills and knowledge in areas such as:
- Working safely in a manufacturing environment
- Understanding how the Forbo Ripley site and the Flotex products are manufactured
- Support Production, Maintenance, Engineering and Quality teams with day to day production issues
- Planning, improving, monitoring and evaluating processes to make them more efficient
- Supporting the introduction of new products and new processes
- Quality control, problem solving and continuous improvement
- Building core engineering, IT, communication and presentation skills
- Review and update process documents such as process maps and control plans
- Complete all apprenticeship training requirements and successfully pass the End Point Assessment

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
Full time permanent position available to the right candidate upon successful completion of the apprenticeship.
