Manufacturing Engineering Apprentice x 2

We are looking for 2 ambitious apprentices to join our manufacturing engineering team. This is a unique opportunity to work across all production departments, gaining practical experience while supporting builds, solving technical queries and assisting with process engineering and continuous improvement projects.

  • What will the apprentice be doing?

    • Designing and commissioning production tooling, jigs and fixtures
    • Learning and being proficient in Solidworks
    • Learning about materials including Epoxies and Polymers
    • Reading and producing detailed drawings
    • Using and interpreting engineering data and documentation such as engineering drawings, technical data and computer-generated programmes
  • What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

    Engineering Manufacturing Technician Level 4.

    You will experience a blended learning model.

    This programme is delivered via a day release delivery model which means that one day per week, your attendance is required at our Nottingham Trent University (NG18). This attendance is required during term time only.

  • What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

    Expected to become a qualified Manufacturing Engineering Apprentice.
