Apprentice Warehouse Operative
An apprentice Warehouse Operative is responsible for supporting warehouse and production operations by handling goods, maintaining stock accuracy, preparing materials for manufacturing, and ensuring the safe and efficient movement of products within the warehouse.

What will the apprentice be doing?
- Receive, check, and store incoming goods and raw materials
- Pick and pack items required for production or customer orders
- Move materials between warehouse and manufacturing areas
- Load and unload delivery vehicles safely
- Maintain accurate stock records and update inventory systems
- Conduct regular stock checks and assist with stock control
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet trucks or forklifts (if trained/licensed)
- Operate CNC machines/Laser cutting machines - Full training given
- Ensure products are stored correctly to prevent damage or loss
- Keep warehouse and work areas clean, organised, and safe
- Follow company health and safety procedures at all times

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
- This programme is delivered via a day release delivery model which means that one day per week, your attendance is required at our Derby Road Campus
- This attendance is required during term time only
You will work with expert assessors and tutors to develop new knowledge, skills and behaviours within the profession.
You will experience a blended learning model.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
- We have so much scope for progression throughout the business, so at the end of the apprenticeship we hope to be able to offer a full time, permanent position
