Warehouse Apprentice

Star Fasteners is looking for a motivated Warehouse Apprentice to join our busy team. This isn’t just stacking shelves; you’ll be hands-on, learning real skills in logistics, sales, customer service and deliveries.

  • What will the apprentice be doing?
    • Loading & unloading palletised stock (average box weight 25kg)
    • Order picking & dispatch (with scanners)
    • Stock control and booking in purchase orders
    • Supporting customers at the trade counter
    • Taking payments
    • Prepping delivery vans
    • Keeping the warehouse organised and running smoothly

    You’ll be busy. You’ll learn fast. You’ll be part of a proper team!

  • What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

    This programme is delivered via a block release delivery model. You will be working to complete a Level 2 Supply Chain Warehouse Operative apprenticeship standard, including any required Functional Skills.

    You will work with expert assessors and tutors to develop new knowledge, skills and behaviours within the profession.

    You will experience a blended learning model.

  • What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

    At the end of the apprenticeship, there may be an opportunity to progress into a full-time, permanent role.
