We have an exciting opportunity for an Engineering Apprentice to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate should have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, with a strong interest in engineering. We are looking for someone who is self-motivated with good communication, literacy and mathematic skills.

What will the apprentice be doing?
- Building electrical control panels and switchgears
- Assist the Manufacturing team with engineering tasks to support the successful project delivery. Working to relevant Network Rail, British and European standards
- To be trained to be fully proficient in the use of hand tools, wiring and fitting techniques

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
Engineering Fitter Level 3.
This programme is delivered via a day release delivery model which means that one day per week, your attendance is required at our Engineering Campus (NG17). This attendance is required during term time only.
You will work with expert assessors and tutors to develop new knowledge, skills and behaviours within the profession.
You will experience a blended learning model.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
At the end of the apprenticeship there may be an opportunity to progress into a full-time, permanent role.
