Students should check their class Microsoft Teams for college work set by their teachers and to access their learning.

If you are due to attend a work placement today, please contact your placement provider directly – attend only if it’s open and safe to travel.

New arrangements for exams planned for today will be communicated to students as soon as possible.

The college expects to re-open as normal on Monday 12 January, once weather conditions have improved. If this changes, a further update will be posted here.

Business Administrator Apprentice

Excellent opportunity to join a well-established organisation as Apprentice Business Administrator. If you have the right attitude the company will invest in you as an individual to ensure you progress.

  • What will the apprentice be doing?

    • Answering phones in a professional and timely manner, transferring calls or taking detailed messages
    • Printing, scanning, filing, and laminating
    • Updating weekly Excel Spreadsheets to help with quality control and order tracking
    • Sending out and receiving parcels and post
    • Maintenance and distribution of SOP documents and internal manuals
    • Booking hotels for fitters and managers
    • Issuing customer facing documents out of the internal system
    • Carrying out stock take of office supplies
    • Covering for people when out of office across departments
    • General office admin tasks
  • What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

    We host supporting workshops regularly throughout the apprenticeship which you will attend in person at our designated training site/campus. These workshops are carefully designed to support the learning required throughout the apprenticeship programme.

    You will work with expert assessors and tutors to develop new knowledge, skills and behaviours within the profession.

    You will experience a blended learning model.

  • What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

    Potentially full-time employment upon successful completion of the apprenticeship.
