Metal Fabrication Apprentice
We are looking for a motivated and reliable Metal Fabrication Apprentice to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to learn and develop hands-on skills in all areas of metal fabrication, including cutting, shaping, welding, and assembling metal components.

What will the apprentice be doing?
Assist with the fabrication, assembly, and installation of metal structures and components.
Learn to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Operate and maintain tools, machinery, and workshop equipment safely:
- Grinders
- Drills
- Saws
- Welders
Measure and mark out materials with accuracy.
Support qualified fabricators and welders in day-to-day workshop and site tasks.
Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
Maintain a clean and organised workspace.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
This programme is delivered using a day release delivery model.
This requires your attendance, one day per week at our engineering campus (NG17), during term time. -
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
Full-time employment upon completing apprenticeship successfully.
