How to apply - aged under 19
The best way to apply for a course at college is online. Remember to apply as early as possible to secure your place!
If you later change your mind on which course you would like to study, get in touch and we can help to change your application.
Step 2
Visit the course page(s) you are interested in and click the green 'Apply online' button. You will then need to set up a myVISION account, where all your application details will be stored.
If you are applying for A Levels
You can select up to four A Level subjects. To apply for all your subjects, simply visit the course information page of one of your chosen subjects and click 'Apply online'.
After creating your myVISION account, you will then have access to a list of all the available A Level subjects and you must tick up to four options.
Step 3
Once your myVISION account is created, the final part is to fill in our easy step-by-step online application form and then hit the blue 'Submit application' button.
Within 48 hours, you should receive an email confirming your application. If you do not receive an email, please contact admissions@wnc.ac.uk with details of your application.
What happens next?
You will be invited to attend an applicant information event
You will be given an automatic conditional offer providing you meet the entry requirements for the course.
If you accept the offer, you will be invited to attend an applicant information event to tell you more about the course and the expectations.
As a condition of the offer, you must attend this event.
Visit the applicant zone
The applicant zone is a hub for you to find out more about college life, what’s available to you as an applicant and to learn more about the enrolment journey.
Attend your enrolment day
Once you have accepted your place at college, you will receive an invite to enrol at our Derby Road campus at the end of August.
During enrolment you will officially become a West Notts student. You will complete your learning agreement, receive your timetable, lanyard, student ID card and details of bursaries/grants available to you.
