Getting to college

Information for students about getting to Vision West Nottinghamshire College, including the college bus service and public transport options.

College bus service

The college bus service runs to all our campuses and covers 12 routes across Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire, with various pick-up points along the way.

The service costs £105 per student per year, but some students will be eligible to use the service for free.

Other transport options

  • Bicycle
All our college sites include areas to safely store your bike. Take a look at the local cycle networks . Please note – the college does not accept any responsibility for damage or theft of any bicycles whilst left on college premises.
  • Car
Parking is available at all our college sites, although it does fill up quickly! So why not use the the college bus service? It’s a greener, and more convenient way to get to each site.
  • Public transport

As well as the college bus service, public bus services are available across the county: Trent and Barton ‘pronto’ bus service runs to and from Nottingham, with stops directly outside our Derby Road campus, and Stagecocach services are available across Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire.

Regular train services run to Mansfield Train Station and Sutton Parkway (ideally located for the Construction Centre and Engineering Innovation Centre).
