Extended Diploma in Creative Digital Media Production (Film and Television) - Level 3

This course is designed for those who may wish to pursue a professional career or entry to Higher Education in a media, film and television related industry.

At interview, we will discuss with you your entry qualifications, experience and career goals. This, along with your portfolio, will form the basis of your starting point on the Creative Digital Media Production (Film and Television) Level 3 programme.

The two year programme enables you to learn professional media production in our purpose-built environment. Use industry-standard equipment including HD cameras in our fully-equipped television studio and radio broadcast suite. You will study film and television from around the world and learn to make your own films, news packages and get the chance to work on a weekly live television show. You will develop the technical skills used in live production such as design, lighting design, live audio recording, Apple Mac editing and use software such as Adobe Premier. As well as this, you will also have the opportunity to create adverts for a range of industry clients, work collaboratively with external industry partners and well-known broadcasters.

In the second year you will work on live briefs and meet professionals from a range of roles within the media industry.
