Results days 2021 – A-Level, GCSE and BTEC

The college can confirm the arrangements for students to collect their eagerly-awaited qualification results this summer.

This year, results days for A-Levels, GCSEs and BTECs fall earlier than usual due to the national changes to exam arrangements and assessments during lockdown. We will be opening our doors for anyone who feels comfortable to pick up their results in person.

Our results days will be held at the Derby Road campus, Mansfield. Please refer to the following information relating to your qualification:

  • GCSE and BTEC First results will be available to collect from 8.30am until 10am.
  • Tutors will be available to offer advice and guidance on your next steps and answer any questions you may have.

Important information:

To collect your results in person you must bring a suitable form of photo ID with you. If you are unable to attend, you can authorise a person who you know and trust to collect your results on your behalf by prior arrangement only.

In order to do this, you must send an email to examinationsofficers@wnc.ac.uk and it is crucial that you send the email from your college email address. In the email, please state the full name of the person who you have authorised to collect your results and their relationship to you. This email must be received by 3pm on Friday 6 August. You will also need to give the person you ask to collect your results a signed authorisation note/letter, which we will keep. The person collecting your results will need to bring a form of photo ID for yourself so we give out the right results. We will not be able to issue your results to another person without your signed permission and prior notice and, unfortunately, we are not able to give results out over the phone.

Please stay updated with national and local guidance in relation to COVID-19 and follow guidance in relation to social behaviour. We will do the same and inform you closer to the planned events if any changes are necessary. Although face coverings are no longer a legal requirement, you can still wear one when picking up your results if you wish to do so.

Please do not leave your home if you or anyone in your household has COVID symptoms.

If you have any queries or need further information about results days, please email examinationsofficers@wnc.ac.uk

We wish you all the best with your results and hope you enjoy the rest of your summer.
