Our courses

This event aims to provide you with all the essential details regarding engineering, fabrication and welding and motor vehicle courses available at our college. West Notts College offers a diverse selection of courses, each taught by experienced teachers with practical industry knowledge. Our priority is to equip students with the necessary training to excel in these challenging fields. Additionally, we understand the needs of adult learners and offer part-time and higher-level courses to support individuals aged 19 and above in pursuing their career goals.

We offer free on-site parking.

What is the recommended arrival time?

Feel free to drop by at any time between 5.30pm and 7.30pm.

What should I bring with me?

Just have your ticket ready to be checked-in to the event and a rough idea of what courses you wish to study.

Can I take a tour of the facilities?

Yes! With some of the best facilities in the region, you can take a look around our dedicated Engineering Innovation Centre to see where you’ll train.

I don't know my GCSE grades. What should I do?

No worries! Come and speak to our teachers who will provide you with the necessary information and advice regarding the course you should apply for.

How do I apply for a course?

You can apply online at any time (the sooner the better to secure your place). Additionally, we will have dedicated 'Application Stations' at the event, where a member of our admissions team will be available to support you throughout the application process.

I'm unsure about which career to pursue. How do I know which course is for me?

Our careers advice team will be on hand to help you explore various career paths aligned with your interests and aspirations. They can offer impartial advice on which courses would be suitable for you.
