This unit is about the responsibilities of a team leader and the impact of leadership style and motivational techniques on team performance.

Building work relationships

Aim

This unit is about understanding how to communicate and develop work relationships with the manager, team and those outside the team.

Communicating with a team

Aim

This unit is about organising and leading a team briefing to communicate within the team.

Customer service award

Aim

This unit is about identifying the customer, providing the level of service and resolving customer issues.

Cyber security awareness for business

Aim

This training is appropriate for individuals employed in all levels of an organisation across any sector in which ICT systems are used as part of the business. Topics include the principles of cyber security, threats to organisational security, safe ICT use and the importance of implementing cyber security policies.

  • Understanding cyber security risks to business.
  • Understanding the effective implementation of cyber security policies for business.

Digital marketing

Aim

The aim of this training is for learners to undertake the planning and management of a marketing campaign. They will research a range of platforms used for digital marketing such as TV, print and digital advertising, websites and social media to inform the creation of their own campaign. This may be to promote a product or raise awareness of an issue. They will review their work in response to the design brief and outline improvem

Personal development as a team leader

Aim

This unit is about the development of the skills and knowledge of the team leader, and the responsibilities for team welfare.

  • To be able to identify work objectives and the skills and knowledge required to meet them.
  • To be able to agree, implement and review the development plan to meet work objectives.
  • To understand team leader’s responsibility for welfare in the work area.
  • To understand the team leader’s responsibilities in relation to discrimination, harassment and diversity.

Protecting your business against cyber crime and fraud

Aim

This training is aimed at employees who wish to understand how their organisations are vulnerable to cyber crime and fraud and what they can do to protect themselves.

Learning outcomes

  • Understand the scale and scope of cyber crime in the UK.
  • Understand how and where their organisation is vulnerable in relation to cyber crime and fraud.
  • Know how to implement basic steps to reduce their vulnerability to cyber crime and fraud.

Warehouse and storage - moving and/or handling goods in logistics operations

This unit is about the movement and/or handling of goods within a single location or between different locations. It deals with identifying hazards that might occur in moving or handling goods safely.
