Interested in working as a personal trainer?
You will be given an awareness of different courses including mental health, health and safety and first aid essentials.
The Want 2 Work series is for people who are currently looking for entry-level employment in industry.
The topics within this course have been carefully selected to give you awareness of some of the key areas within personal training and will give you basic knowledge that can be discussed in an interview or prepare you for further study.

Entry requirements
- No specific entry requirements, but a minimum of a Level 1 in English and Maths (or equivalent) is recommended
- Applicants must live in England and not live in the locations listed here
- Applicants must have been living in the UK for the last 3 years.
How long is the course?
Total time to complete - 6 hours (made up of guided learning hours studied in your own time, at your own pace).
How will I be assessed?
The course is assessed by online tests, subject to external quality assurance. Where indicated in the unit specifications, assessment must meet the requirements of the identified pass grade (usually 80%).
